1. Who we are
This website is operated by Lambda Frames, a partnership firm constituted by Susmith Gopalakrishnan and Ashwin Narayanan, in Bangalore and Goa, India (“Lambda Frames”, “we”, “us”). You can contact us at contact@lambdaframes.com or +91 97312 02797.
2. What this policy covers
It covers this website and the personal data we receive when you contact us or book a shoot.
3. What we collect
When you only browse the website: we do not collect personal data through the site. It has no forms, accounts, advertising or tracking, and it sets no cookies. Our hosting provider may keep technical logs (such as IP address and browser type) for security and to operate the service.
When you contact us: the details you give us, such as your name, email address, phone number, message and any shoot details.
When you become a client: your name, contact and billing details, shoot preferences, and photographs and videos of you, and, with a parent or guardian’s consent, of your child (including the child’s name and age).
4. Why we use it
To reply to your enquiry, plan and carry out the shoot, deliver images, issue invoices and keep accounts, protect our legal rights, and comply with law. We use your images for our portfolio, social media or advertising only as you agree in your client agreement or model release.
5. Consent
Where the law requires consent, we rely on yours. You may withdraw it at any time by emailing contact@lambdaframes.com. After withdrawal we will stop the use in question and remove the image from our website and social accounts within 7 days. We cannot recall copies already printed or shared before the withdrawal.
6. Children
We photograph a child only with the written consent of a parent or legal guardian. We do not publish a child’s full name, school, home address or exact location with an image.
7. Who we share it with
We do not sell personal data. We share it only with service providers we need to run the business, such as Cloudflare, Google, our banks and payment providers, our accountants, and public authorities when the law requires. Some of these may store data outside India.
8. How long we keep it
- Enquiry emails and messages: 12 months.
- Client photographs and files: 12 months after delivery, after which we may delete them. Images you have approved for our portfolio stay until you withdraw consent.
- Invoices and financial records: 8 years, or longer if the law requires.
9. Your rights
You may ask us to tell you what personal data we hold, correct or update it, delete it, or answer a complaint. Email contact@lambdaframes.com. We will reply within 30 days, and within any shorter period the law requires.
10. Security
We keep client files on encrypted devices and password-protected accounts that only the partners use, and we keep backups. No system is completely secure, so please do not send sensitive information such as bank passwords by email.
11. Data breaches
If a breach affects your personal data, we will inform you and the authorities as the law requires.
12. Cookies and analytics
This site currently uses none. If we add them, we will update this policy first and ask for your consent where required.
13. Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version.
14. Governing law
This policy is governed by the laws of India, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 as it comes into force.
